“Every single one of us deserves to be seen, heard and valued. Every person we encounter has a story, and those stories deserve to be heard and held. In doing so, we find the human threads that connect us all, and discover we are all very much the same when we break it all down to the heart parts. Truly, our stories can heal us.”
I created The Generous Kind to help people process and give voice to their feelings. So this writing experience and community is not just writers (but you’re welcome, too!).
And what I hope each person experiences, whether you’re starting with the online writing course, A Story of Your Own, or just becoming part of this community of “generous friends” –
is that while learning to write your truth, stand in your story, and find your voice in this difficult world – you also find compassion, respect and kindness for others along the way.
Because imagine a world where space is held for every human story. This is our work of healing as humans – The Generous Kind.

“I’ve always used writing to process big feelings, from trauma and loss, to my own infertility and motherhood journey, to social justice, rehumanization, inclusion – and kindness! And now the gift of writing is an outlet I can share with others who want to tell their own story.”
